🎖️San Francisco – Veterans Day Parade 2024

Hi Mooviters, 

The San Francisco Veterans Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 10th, at Fisherman’s Wharf. Parade formation will begin at 10 a.m. Streets will be closed, and Muni will reroute around the event. The F Market, 8, 28, and 39 will have service adjustments. 

On Veteran’s Day, Muni will run a weekday, nonschool schedule.

Street Closures

The following streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• North Point between Powell and The Embarcadero
• The Embarcadero between North Point and Jefferson
• Jefferson between The Embarcadero and Hyde
• All streets north of Beach between Hyde and The Embarcadero

Parade Formation, 10 a.m.:

• North Point between Powell and The Embarcadero

Parade Route, 11 a.m.:

• The Embarcadero north of North Point
• Jefferson to Aquatic Park

Muni Reroutes

Some Muni routes will switchback–changing direction before reaching the end of the line–while others will reroute. Service will return to normal after streets are clear.

Temporary Service Changes during the Veterans Day Parade:

F Market & Wharves (Streetcars)

• Direction: Inbound to Fisherman’s Wharf
• Duration: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Service Change Summary: Switchback will begin at the Ferry Building. Streetcars will only run on Market Street.

• Alternate Stop Locations: Transfer to F Market & Wharves Bus Shuttle at a temporary terminal on Steuart St. between Market St. & Don Chee Way.

F Market & Wharves (Bus Shuttles)

• Direction: Inbound to Fisherman’s Wharf

• Service Change Summary: Temporary terminal on Main St. between Market and Mission, travels to Beach St & Mason St.
