- Buses – Most buses will run to a Sunday or special timetable

- F1 Manly: Reduced timetable
- F3 Parramatta River: No services
- F4 Cross Harbour: Reduced public holiday timetable. Last service leaves Pyrmont at 19:15. Last service leaves Watsons Bay at 19:19
- F7 Double Bay: No service
- F8 Cockatoo Island: Reduced public holiday timetable. Last service from Circular Quay leaves at 18:45. Last service from Cockatoo Island leaves at 19:19
- All other Sydney Ferries services: Public holiday timetable.

New Years Eve Tuesday 31 December 2019
- Metro – Services will run every 10 mins, Services will run every 5 minutes between 6pm New Years Eve to 3am New Years Day.
- Sydney and Intercity Trains – Weekend timetable with additional services
- Buses – Most buses will run to a changed weekday timetable with reduced services during the morning and additional services in the evening. Buses in the Sydney CBD will use alternative stops and routes from 2pm until 4am NYD due to road closures for NYE events.

- Increased frequency for NYE
- Changed stopping patterns from mid afternoon and late evening
- L1 Inner West
- From 10.30pm to 2am services towards Central will run between Dulwich Hill and Convention
- From 10.30pm to 2am services towards Dulwich Hill will run between Pyrmont Bay and Dulwich Hill
- From 2am on NYD, services will run between Central and Dulwich Hill
- From 4am on NYD, normal overnight services will run between Central and The Star every 30 minutes until 6am
- L2 Circular Quay to Randwick
- Services will not run between Circular Quay and Central after 2pm
- Services resume at 5am on NYD
- Services continue to run between Central and Randwick throughout the day and will be extended to 4am
- L1 Inner West
New Years Day Wednesday 1 January 2020
- Metro – Saturday services
- Sydney and Intercity Trains – Weekend timetable
- Buses – Most buses will run to a Sunday timetable, with additional early morning services after New Years Eve.
- Ferries
- All ferries:Sunday/public holiday timetable
- F8 Cockatoo Island: Public holiday timetable with extra services leaving Cockatoo Island (morning only)
- Light rail – Special New Years Day services
