Trackwork: Monday 2 to Sunday 8 March 2020

Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need. 

City Circle🏙

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Trains run around the City Circle in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.

T1 North Shore Line

Monday 2 to Thursday 5 March

• Nightly from 9.55pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Central.
  From 11.30pm, buses also replace trains between Hornsby and Berowra.

Friday 6 March

• From 11pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Gordon and North Sydney or Wynyard.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Buses replace trains between Hornsby and Wynyard.

T1 Western Line

Monday 2 to Thursday 5 March

• Nightly from 10pm until 2am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12 due to trackwork on the North Shore Line.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Richmond trains run between Richmond and Olympic Park only.

T2 Inner West and Leppington Line✈️

Monday 2 March

• From 9.40pm until 1am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains from Central to Ashfield, in that direction only.

T3 Bankstown Line

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Bankstown, and between Lidcombe and Sydenham via Bankstown.

T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line

Monday 2 to Thursday 5 March

• Nightly from 11pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Sutherland and Hurstville.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.

T5 Cumberland Line

Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 March

• Nightly from 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only.

T8 Airport & South Line

Tuesday 3 March

• From 9.45pm until 1am, buses replace trains between Glenfield and Revesby.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
  
• From 10pm Saturday until 2am Sunday, buses replace trains between Glenfield and East Hills.

T9 Northern Line

Monday 2 to Thursday 5 March

• Nightly from 10pm until 2am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12 due to trackwork on the North Shore Line.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March

• Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12 via Strathfield.

Blue Mountains Line 🛤 

Until further notice

• Due to infrastructure damage caused by bushfires and a landslide, buses continue to replace some trains.

Monday 2 to Friday 6 March

• Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria.
  
• Daily from 9.30am until 5.30pm, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Katoomba.
