Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
T1 North Shore Line
Monday 7 October
- Some trains run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Homebush and Strathfield.
T1 Western Line
Saturday 5 October
- From 7.45am until 8.30am, the 07:26 and 07:56 Central to Penrith services run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at Ashfield, Croydon, Burwood and Homebush.
Sunday 6 October
- From 6am until 9.30am, Penrith trains make extra stops at Burwood and Ashfield.
Monday 7 October
- From 2.30am until 6.15am, trains from Penrith to the City run to a changed timetable via the T3 Bankstown Line. Trains from the City run via Strathfield, some to a changed timetable.
- If you are travelling to stations between Lidcombe and Strathfield please change at Granville for a bus towards Strathfield. Trains run between Strathfield and the City.
- From 6.15am Monday until 2am Tuesday, trains make an extra stop at Burwood.
T2 Inner West and Leppington Line✈️
Saturday 5 October
- From 7.45am until 11.45am, Homebush trains run between Ashfield and the City only.
Sunday 6 October
- From 5.40am until 10am, buses replace Homebush trains between Ashfield and Central.
Monday 7 October
- From 2.30am until 6.15am, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield.
- If you are travelling to the City please change at Granville for a T1 Western Line train via the T3 Bankstown Line, or change at Granville for buses towards Strathfield.
- From 6.15am Monday until 2am Tuesday, Leppington trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Granville, making extra stops at Homebush and Croydon.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 7 October
- Trains continue to run between Quakers Hill and Liverpool, but to a changed timetable.
South Coast Line
Saturday 5 to Monday 7 October
- Buses replace trains between Port Kembla and Wollongong.
