Trackwork: Monday 13 to Sunday 19 January 2020

    Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need. 

    City Circle🏙

    Monday 13 January
    • From 10pm until 11.55pm, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
    • From 11.55pm until 1.20am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.

    T1 Western Line

    Monday 13 January
    • From 9.20pm until 1.40am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Schofields.
    Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January
    • Buses replace trains between St Marys, Richmond and Granville.
    • On Saturday from 5.45am until 9.45am, trains make extra stops at Homebush, Croydon and Ashfield.
    • On Sunday from 4.30pm, trains run between Parramatta and the City. If you are travelling to Harris Park or stations West of Parramatta, please change at Granville for a bus.

    T2 Inner West and Leppington Line✈️

    Sunday 19 January
    • From 5.45am until 9.45am, buses replace Homebush trains between Ashfield and Central.

    T5 Cumberland Line

    Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January
    • Trains will not run.
    • Buses replace trains between Richmond and Granville.

    T8 Airport & South Line

    Monday 13 to Thursday 16 January
    • Nightly from 10.10pm until 2am, buses replace trains between East Hills and Sydenham.
    • Nightly from 10.50pm until 2am, buses also replace trains between Sydenham and Central via the Airport.
    Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January
    • Nightly from 10pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Glenfield and East Hills.

    T9 Northern Line

    Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 January
    • Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Rhodes.

    Blue Mountains Line 🛤 

    Until further notice
    • Due to infrastructure damaged caused by bushfires, buses are replacing trains between Bathurst, Lithgow and Mount Victoria.
    Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January
    • Buses replace trains between Penrith and Central.

    Central Coast & Newcastle Line 

    Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 January
    • Nightly from 9.45pm until 5am, some trains run to a changed timetable via the T1 North Shore Line, making an extra stop at Chatswood.
    Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 January
    • Nightly from 10pm until 2.40am, at Cowan, trains towards Gosford leave from platform 1, not platform 2.
    Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January
    • Most trains start and end at North Sydney, to a changed timetable.

    Hunter Line 

    Wednesday 15 January
    • Buses replace the 08:14, Newcastle Interchange to Muswellbrook and the 10:09 Muswellbrook to Newcastle Interchange trains.

    South Coast Line 

    Saturday 18 January
    • From 8am until 4pm, At Stanwell Park, trains towards Wollongong will depart from platform 1, not platform 2.
    Sunday 19 January
    • From 8am until 4pm, at Scarborough, Wombarra and Coledale, trains towards Wollongong will depart from platform 1 not platform 2.
