Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
City Circle
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Trains run around the City Circle in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
T1 Western Line
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Wednesday 9 September
- From 11pm until 2am, buses replace Homebush trains between Strathfield and Ashfield.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Leppington trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City Circle, from Central first stop Museum.
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Trains run between Liverpool or Lidcombe and Sydenham only, some to a changed timetable.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September
- Nightly from 11pm until 2.30am, buses replace most trains between Sutherland and Hurstville.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Trackwork on the City Circle, T3 Bankstown and T8 Airport & South lines may affect how you travel.
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Trains run from Macarthur or Revesby to the City via the Airport, in that direction only.
- Trains from the City to Revesby or Macarthur run via Sydenham.
- If you are travelling from the City to the International Airport or Domestic Airport, please catch a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train to Wolli Creek, then change for a T8 Airport & South Line train.
Blue Mountains Line
Monday 7 to Friday 11 September
- Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria.
- Daily from 9.20am until 5pm, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Katoomba.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Blacktown. Bathurst trains are replaced by buses between Bathurst and Central.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2.50am, buses replace trains between Broadmeadow and Newcastle Interchange.
Hunter Line
Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 2.40am, buses replace trains from Broadmeadow to Newcastle Interchange.
- Nightly from 10.15pm until 12.30am, buses replace some trains from Newcastle Interchange to Waratah.
South Coast Line
Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September
- Nightly from 11pm until 2.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Sutherland and Hurstville.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
- Trackwork on the T8 Airport & South Line may affect how you travel to or from the Airport.
Southern Highlands Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September
- Buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown.
