Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
City Circle
Monday 24 August
- From 10pm until 11.55pm, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
- From 11.55pm until 1.30am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
T1 Western Line
Monday 24 to Thursday 27 August
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 1am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Blacktown.
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August
- Richmond trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Central, platforms 1-12, only.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Monday 24 August
- From 10pm until 1.30am, City Circle trains run to a changed timetable, in one directional only.
Saturday 29 August
- From 6.30am until 10.30am, Homebush trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only.
Sunday 30 August
- From 3.30am until 10.30am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Ashfield and Central.
T3 Bankstown Line
Monday 24 August
- From 10pm until 1.30am, trains run around the City Circle to a changed timetable, in one direction only.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 24 to Thursday 27 August
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Bondi Junction and Central.
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August
- Buses replace trains between Bondi Junction and Central.
- Daily from 5.30am until 11am, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 24 to Thursday 27 August
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 1am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Blacktown.
T8 Airport & South Line
Monday 24 August
- From 10pm until 1.30am, some trains start or end at Central. Some trains continue to run around the City Circle, to a changed timetable.
Blue Mountains Line
- On Monday, the 03:42 Lithgow to Bathurst service will leave Lithgow at 04:15.
South Coast Line
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August
- Buses replace trains between Bondi Junction and Central.
