Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- Train replacement buses may be impacted due to bus driver shortages.
- Consider other travel options including travelling off peak, walking, cycling and driving where possible as there will be limited space on replacement buses.
Metro Line
Thursday 13 April
- From 9pm, metro will run to a reduced frequency between Tallawong and Chatswood.
City Circle Line
Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 April
- Nightly from 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April
- Trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
T1 Western Line
Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 April
- Nightly from 9pm to 3am, buses replace Blue Mountains Line trains between Emu Plains and Penrith.
- T1 Western Line trains run between Emu Plains and Penrith, some to a changed timetable.
Saturday 15 April
- From 6.30am to 12.30pm, some trains may run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April
- Most Homebush trains run between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park.
- Saturday from 6.15am to 10.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
T3 Bankstown Line
Friday 14 April
- Buses replace the 00:30 Central to Liverpool service from Sydenham to Liverpool, and the 00:52 Lidcombe to Bankstown service.
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April
- Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Sydenham.
- Saturday from 9pm to 2am, buses also replace trains between Sydenham and Central.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April
- All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- Daily from 8am to 8pm, extra trains run between Hurstville and Bondi Junction.
- Saturday from 8.50pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Hurstville and Central.
T5 Cumberland Line
Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April
- Nightly from 11.50pm to 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond or Leppington and Olympic Park only. Some trains start and end at Granville.
Saturday 15 April
- From 6.15am to 10.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and Central via the Airport.
- Extra trains also run between Campbelltown and the City Circle via Regents Park.
Blue Mountains Line
Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 April
- Nightly from 9pm to 3am, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Penrith.
South Coast Line
Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 April
- Buses replace selected trains between Wollongong and Kiama.
Saturday 15 April
- From 8am to 4pm, at Stanwell Park, all trains leave from platform 1.
Saturday 15 April
- From 9pm to 2am, trains run between South Coast Line stations and Waterfall only.
- Buses replace trains between Hurstville and Central.
Sunday 16 April
- From 8am to 4pm, at Scarborough, Wombarra and Coledale, all trains leave from platform 1.
