Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
T1 Western Line
Thursday 15 July
- From 11pm until 1.30am, trains make extra stops at Homebush and Burwood.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Thursday 15 July
- From 11pm until 1.30am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Strathfield and Ashfield.
- Trains run to the normal timetable between Ashfield and the City Circle.
- Leppington trains make an extra stop at Homebush but will not stop at Ashfield.
- T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Homebush and Burwood.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July
- Some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
- On Sunday from 6.30am until 10.30am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Ashfield and Central.
- Leppington trains continue to run, making extra stops at Homebush and Croydon
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July
- Buses replace all trains between Sydenham and Central.
- Trains run between Liverpool or Lidcombe and Sydenham only, some to a changed timetable.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 12, Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 July
- Nightly from 9.45pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall or Cronulla and the City Circle.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July
- Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central, and between Central and Bondi Junction.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla and Sydenham, and Waterfall and Hurstville.
- If you are travelling to the City from Illawarra Line stations please change at Wolli Creek for a T8 Airport & South Line train to City Circle stations.
T5 Cumberland Line
Sunday 18 July
- From 6.30am until 9am, Richmond and Schofields trains will run to Olympic Park in that direction only. Change trains at Granville if you are travelling towards Leppington or Central.
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July
- Some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
- Extra trains run between Kingsgrove and Ashfield or Olympic Park via the Airport and City Circle.
Friday 9 July
- From 11pm until 2am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12, due to trackwork on the T1 North Shore Line.
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12, via Strathfield.
South Coast Line
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 July
- From 1.15pm Monday, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama.
- From 3pm Monday until 3.30am Thursday, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Dapto.
- Buses travelling towards Dapto may leave from stations Bomaderry to Albion Park up to 40 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable.
- Most trains run to the normal timetable between Dapto and Central or Bondi Junction.
- On Thursday from 3.30am until 12pm, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama only.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July
- Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Waterfall only.
- Buses replace trains between Waterfall and Central.
- Trackwork also affects trains on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line.
