Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
Metro
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October
- Buses replace all metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood.
City Circle
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 1am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
T1 North Shore Line
Tuesday 13 October
- From 11.50pm until 2.30am, buses replace trains from Hornsby to Berowra, in that direction only.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October
- Buses replace trains between Hornsby and North Sydney or Wynyard.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 1.30am, trains run around City Circle stations in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
- Nightly from 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Leppington and Fairfield.
T3 Bankstown Line
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October
- Nightly from 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Liverpool and Villawood.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October
- Nightly from 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Leppington and Fairfield.
T8 Airport & South Line
Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 1am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 22/23, due to trackwork on the City Circle.
Saturday 17 October
- From 8.25am until 3.25pm, buses replace the all-stations trains between Revesby and Wolli Creek.
Sunday 18 October
- From 9am until 3pm, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Revesby and Turrella.
T9 Northern Line
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and North Sydney via Strathfield.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Tuesday 13 October
- From 11.50pm until 3.30am, buses replace selected trains between Hornsby and Gosford.
South Coast Line
Sunday 18 October
- From 8am until 4pm, at Otford and Helensburgh, trains towards Central leave from platform 2, not platform 1.
