Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- From 10 January 2022, most public transport services will run to a reduced timetable. All dedicated school services will run to a normal school term timetable across NSW. Plan ahead and consider all your transport options. Allow extra travel time as connecting services may be impacted.
- Currently COVID Safe capacity on public transport is around 75 percent. Green dots will help you to choose the best places to sit or stand.
- Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 February
- Nightly from 10.30pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
Saturday 19 February
- From 6.30am until 10.30am, Leppington trains will not stop at Ashfield. You may need to change at Strathfiled to continue your journey.
Sunday 20 February
- From 6.20am until 10.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 February
- From 10.50pm Saturday until 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Bankstown and Central.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February
- Buses replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Central. Some buses start and end at Redfern.
T5 Cumberland Line
Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 February
- Nightly from 10.30pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
Sunday 20 February
- From 6.20am until 10.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
- From 10.40am until 12.30pm, trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Granville, and between Schofields and Olympic Park.
- You may need to change at Granville to continue your journey.
T7 Olympic Park Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February
- Extra trains run between Olympic Park and Lidcombe, then continue to Schofields.
- From 8pm Saturday until 8am Sunday, buses replace trains between Olympic Park and Blacktown or Cabramatta.
T8 Airport&South Line
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February
- Trackwork on the T4 Illawarra and South Coast lines may affect how you travel.
T9 Northern Line
Saturday 19 February
- From 6.30am until 10.30am, trains make an extra stop at Ashfield.
Blue Mountains Line
Monday 14 to Friday 18 February
- Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria.
Hunter Line
Saturday 19 February
- From 9pm until 2.20am, buses replace trains from Newcastle Interchange to Telarah.
- From 9.45pm until 3am, buses replace trains from Telerah to Newcastle Interchange.
South Coast Line
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February
- Buses replace trains between Dapto and Central, and between Port Kembla and Wollongong.
