Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
City Circle
Monday 14 December
- From 10pm until 11.55pm, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
- From 11.55pm until 1.30am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 December
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 1am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Monday 14 December
- From 10pm until 1.30am, City Circle trains run to a changed timetable, in one direction only.
Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 December
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 1am, some trains from the City start at Central. You may need to change trains at Central to continue your journey.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December
- The all-stations Homebush trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and the City via Regents Park, stopping at all stations between Liverpool and Lidcombe, then running to the normal timetable between Homebush and the City.
T3 Bankstown Line
Monday 14 December
- From 10pm until 1.30am, City Circle trains run to a changed timetable, in one direction only.
Friday 18 December
- From 10.30pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Bankstown and Sydenham.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December
- Buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Bankstown, and between Lidcombe and Sydenham via Bankstown.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Friday 18 December
- From 10.30pm until 2am, some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December
- All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
T5 Cumberland Line
Saturday 19 December
- From 5.30am until 9am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only.
T8 Airport & South Line
Monday 14 December
- From 10pm until 1.30am, City Circle trains run to a changed timetable, in one direction only.
Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 December
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 1am, trains to the City end at Central. You may need to change trains at Central to continue your journey.
Hunter Line
Wednesday 16 December
- Buses replace selected trains between Maitland and Muswellbrook.
Saturday 19 December
- From 10pm until 4.15am, buses replace trains between Telarah and Newcastle Interchange.
South Coast Line
Friday 18 to Monday 21 December
- On Friday from 1.50pm until 11.50pm, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama.
- From 11.50pm Friday until 2am Monday, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong.
- On Monday from 2am until 11.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama
