Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
T1 Western Line
Wednesday 21 April
- From 11pm until 1.30am, trains make extra stops at Homebush and Burwood.
Saturday 24 April
- Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Lidcombe or Lindfield, Richmond and Leppington, and Lidcombe or Strathfield and the City.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Wednesday 21 April
- From 10.50pm until 1.30am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Strathfield and Ashfield.
Saturday 24 April
- Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Lidcombe or Richmond, and between Liverpool, Lidcombe, Glenfield, Strathfield or Ashfield and the City.
T3 Bankstown Line
Monday 19 to Thursday 22 April
- Nightly from 10.20pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Bankstown and Sydenham.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool or Lidcombe and Bankstown.
Saturday 24 April
- Some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern, with extra trains running between Lidcombe and Lindfield via Sydenham.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 19 to Thursday 22 April
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland.
- Trains run between Waterfall or Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.
T7 Olympic Park Line
- Buses replace all trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Olympic Park and Lidcombe, then continue to Penrith or Leppington.
Blue Mountains Line
Saturday 24 April
- Buses replace trains between Blacktown and Central.
- Trains from Blacktown towards Blue Mountains Line stations leave 30 minutes later than normal.
- Some trains between Bathurst and Lithgow also run to a changed timetable.
