Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
Metro
Monday 21 to Thursday 24 June
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, no trackwork scheduled on the metro, but trackwork on the T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel.
- If you are travelling to the City change at Epping, not Chatswood, for a direct train via the T9 Northern Line.
T1 North Shore Line
Monday 21 to Thursday 24 June
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Central.
- T1 Western and T9 Northern Line trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12
T1 Western Line
Monday 21 to Thursday 24 June
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12, due to trackwork on the T1 North Shore Line.
- Nightly from 10.30pm until 3.55am, buses replace trains between Emu Plains and St Marys.
- Some buses towards St Marys leave stations Emu Plains to Werrington up to 20 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable.
- Blue Mountains Line trains continue to run, to a changed timetable.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Sunday 27 June
- From 5.30am until 9.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and the City via Regents Park.
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June
- Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Sydenham and Central.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June
- Buses replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Central. Some buses start and end at Redfern.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Bondi Junction and Central.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 June
- Nightly from 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only. Some trains start or end at Olympic Park.
Sunday 27 June
- From 5.30am until 9.40am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Regents Park, and between Richmond and Olympic Park.
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June
- Trackwork on the T4 Illawarra and South Coast lines may affect how you travel.
T9 Northern Line
Monday 21 to Thursday 24 June
- Nightly from 9.50pm until 2am, trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12, due to trackwork on the T1 North Shore Line.
Blue Mountains Line
Monday 21 to Thursday 24 June
- Nightly from 11.20pm until 3.30am, trains may run up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable due to trackwork between Penrith and St Marys.
Hunter Line
Wednesday 23 June
- Buses replace selected services between Maitland and Muswellbrook.
- Trains run to the normal timetable between Newcastle Interchange and Maitland.
South Coast Line
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June
- Buses replace trains between Dapto and Central, and between Port Kembla and Wollongong.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Bomaderry and Kiama, and between Kiama and Dapto. Limited buses also run between Bomaderry and Kiama to supplement train services.
- Some late night and early morning buses extend from Dapto to Kiama and Bomaderry.
- South Coast Line trackwork buses do not stop at Wolli Creek. Change at Central for a T8 Airport & South Line train.
