Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- Consider other travel options including travelling off peak, walking, cycling and driving where possible as there will be limited space on replacement buses.
- Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
City Circle
Monday 22 August
- From 9.50pm until 11.55pm, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
- From 11.55pm until 1.30am, trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Town Hall.
- Some City Circle trains run to a changed timetable and leave from different platforms.
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Trains run in one direction only, from Central first stop Museum.
- Some trains start or end at Central.
T1 Western Line
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Buses replace trains between St Marys and Granville, and between Richmond and Granville.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line,
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
- Some trains start or end at Hurstville or Sutherland. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
T5 Cumberland Line
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield, and between Granville and Richmond.
T8 Airport & South Line
Friday 26 August
- From 10.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Glenfield and Sydenham, and between Sydenham and Central via the Airport.
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Buses replace trains between Glenfield and Sydenham, and between Sydenham and Central via the Airport.
Blue Mountains Line
Thursday 25 August
- Buses replace the following trains between Lawson and Valley Heights:
– 11:24 Lithgow to Central (12:32 at Lawson)
– 11:18 Central to Mount Victoria (12:43 at Valley Heights).
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Buses replace trains between Penrith and Central.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 August
- From 8.20pm Saturday to 4.50am Sunday, buses replace trains between Wyong and Hornsby.
Hunter Line
Thursday 25 August
- From 8am until 9pm, buses replace some trains between Scone, Telarah and Maitland.
- Trains may run to a changed timetable between Dungog, Maitland and Newcastle Interchange.
South Coast Line
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August
- Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, some trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops between Sutherland and Hurstville.
