Changes in Train Service, July 16–19, 2026 🚆
Train service between Ashkelon and Ashdod Ad Halom – Metropolin stations will be temporarily suspended from Thursday, 16.7.26 at 00:01 (the night between Wednesday and Thursday) until Sunday, 19.7.26 at 04:00, when service resumes.Â
- Trains on the Be’er Sheva – Herzliya line (Western Negev line) – will operate in a split format, between Be’er Sheva and Ashkelon stations, and between Ashdod Ad Halom Metropolin and Herzliya stations.
- Continuous travel will not be possible on the line passing through the Western Negev stations (Sderot, Netivot, Ofakim) and Ashkelon toward the center, travel will be possible via an alternative shuttle service.
- Trains on the Ashkelon – Binyamina line – will start and end their journey at Ashdod Ad Halom Metropolin station, and will not stop at Ashkelon station.
Please note, the line to Be’er Sheva, passing through Lod, Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, etc. – will operate as usual.Â
Train service will return to normal on Sunday, 19.7.26 at 04:00, when service resumes.
