We have gathered all the expected updates regarding train service in the Central and Shfela regions for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night (July 9–11, 2026).

Changes in Train Service, July 9–11, 2026 🚆
The Lod Ganei Aviv and Kfar Chabad stations will be closed for service, and regular train lines between Lod and Tel Aviv will not operate. For your convenience, a dedicated train line will run between Lod and Tel Aviv, along with a free alternative shuttle service and additional travel alternatives.
Thursday, July 9, 2026
- Be’er Sheva – Nahariya & Be’er Sheva – Karmiel Lines: Will operate on a split route—between Be’er Sheva Center and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Nahariya/Karmiel stations.
- Ashkelon-Binyamina Line: Will operate on a split route between Ashkelon and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Binyamina stations.
- Rehovot – Netanya Line: Will operate only between Tel Aviv Savidor Center and Netanya stations.
- Beit Shemesh – Netanya Line: Will operate between Beit Shemesh and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations only, and will not stop at Tel Aviv University, Herzliya, Beit Yehoshua, and Netanya stations.
Please Note: On this day, Bus Line 277 will be significantly reinforced. This line connects Kiryat Ekron, Rehovot, and Ness Ziona to Tel Aviv.
We highly recommend that passengers traveling on Thursday, July 9, 2026, arrive early at the stations and consider using one of the travel alternatives listed below.
Friday & Saturday Night, July 10–11, 2026
Be’er Sheva – Nahariya & Be’er Sheva – Karmiel Lines: Will operate on a split route—between Be’er Sheva Center and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Nahariya/Karmiel stations.
Ashkelon-Binyamina Line: Will operate on a split route between Ashkelon and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Binyamina stations.
Beit Shemesh – Netanya Line: Will operate on a split route between Beit Shemesh and Lod stations, and between Tel Aviv HaHagana and Netanya stations.
Travel Alternatives
On Thursday only (July 9, 2026): A dedicated train line will operate between Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations (without stopping at Tel Aviv HaHagana and Tel Aviv HaShalom stations) at a frequency of one train per hour, in each direction.
The Western Negev Line (Passing through Bat Yam, Holon, Rishon LeZion, Moshe Dayan, Sderot, etc.) will operate as usual. For passengers whose destination or origin is Be’er Sheva stations, it is recommended to use this line.
Regular bus lines will be reinforced.
Train service will return to its regular schedule on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
