- The 42-day shutdown of the Green Line, July 18-August 28, is postponed till September. The shutdown was due to planned construction on the Squires Bridge which has now been postponed.
- The Sumner Tunnel shutdown has started and will be closed till the end of August. Take the T to avoid traffic! During the shutdown, the Blue Line will be FREE. You Can also take the FREE ferry service between Lewis Wharf in East Boston and Long Wharf (North) Boston. MBTA has added a new ferry service between Blossom Street Pier in Lynn to Long Wharf (South) in Boston.
