We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.
๐ Israel Railway
Opening of Sderot Station
Starting Monday, March 18, 2024, Sderot station will be opened. At this stage, only southbound travel will be available (Netivot, Ofakim, and Be’er Sheva).
Train service at the station will operate between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00 (approximately), with a frequency of one train per hour (in each direction).
Passengers traveling to or departing from stations north of Sderot will change trains at the Beโer Sheva stations and continue to their destination.
The shuttles operating between the Sderot station and the stations of Ashkelon and Netivot will continue to operate until Monday, March 18, 2024. Full schedules are available on the Moovit app.

Thursday night, March 14th – Service changes due to a demonstration:
Today, Thursday, March 14, 2024, a demonstration will take place in the area of Habima Square, Kikar Dizengoff, and the Kirya.
Starting at approximately 18:00, many streets in the central Tel Aviv area will be closed, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.

Saturday night, March 16th – Service changes due to a rally:
On Saturday night, March 16th, a rally will take place at Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Hostages Square๐) and at Kaplan\Begin Junction.
Starting at noon, many streets in the area will be blocked, and bus lines will skip stops in the area.
Bus lines with route changes:
Dan – 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 18, 23, 40, 44, 50, 51, 53, 60, 63, 72, 82, 89, 116, 142, 160, 238, 240.
