    Weekend Updates

We had now 1+ week into stage one of the post Covid19 Circuit Break which is the recovery period. We hope that everyone is doing better than before as the country is moving toward a safe recovery.

Apart from there, there are not many changes coming this weekend.

    Here are the changes:

    1) Post-COVID19 Circuit Breaker Period – Changes to public transport services

We had entered Post-Covid19 Circuit Break Period since 2nd June. As a result, 18 routes from Franchised Bus Service, Express Bus Services, Night Buses and Chinatown Direct Bus Service that are catered for recreational demand will continue to be suspended. More details on the suspension can be found here.

    2) Early Closure & Late Opening of Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL)

To facilitate additional engineering hours to prepare the upcoming TEL Stage 2 which is scheduled to open later in the year, the Thomson-East Coast Line will be ending its service earlier at 10.00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays & starting its service later at 6.30 am on Saturdays and Sundays from until 26 July 2020

    3) Recovery Movement Restriction Order in Malaysia

Reminder: All cross-border services between Malaysia and Singapore had been suspended since 18 March and will continue to be suspended until Malaysia and Singapore had worked out a SOP to reopen our borders. However, rail services by KTM, Shuttle Tebrau will continue its operation as usual with the exception where trips into Singapore can only be boarded by non-Malaysians and trips into Malaysia can only be boarded by Malaysians citizens.
