PTV Service Update

    Coronavirus – COVID-19

    When travelling on public transport you must wear a fitted face mask covering your nose and mouth and ensure you wear it for your entire journey.

    Metro Trains

    Belgrave, Glen Waverley and Lilydale Lines

    • Belgrave, Glen Waverley and Lilydale trains run direct to and from Flinders Street, not via the City Loop, from 9pm Friday 26 November to last train Sunday 28 November.

    Craigieburn Line

    • Buses replace trains between Essendon and Broadmeadows from 9pm to last service each night, Tuesday 16 November to Thursday 18 November 2021, due to works.

    Cranbourne Line

    • Buses replace Cranbourne trains between Dandenong and Cranbourne stations from 8.30pm to last service each night, from Monday 15 November to Thursday 18 November, due to level crossing removal works.

    Cranbourne and Pakenham Lines

    • Buses replace Cranbourne trains between Dandenong and Cranbourne stations from 8.30pm to last service each night, from Monday 15 November to Thursday 18 November, due to level crossing removal works.
    • Buses replace Cranbourne and Pakenham trains in sections of the Cranbourne and Pakenham Lines from 1am Saturday 20 November to last service Thursday 25 November, due to works.
    • Buses replace Cranbourne and Pakenham line trains between Flinders Street and Caulfield stations from 9pm to last train each night, from Monday 22 November to Wednesday 24 November.
    • Buses replace Cranbourne and Pakenham trains between Flinders Street and Dandenong stations from 1am Saturday 27 November to last service Sunday 28 November.

    Frankston Line

    • Buses replace Frankston line trains between South Yarra/Burnley and Caulfield stations from 8.30pm to last train each night, from Monday 22 November to Wednesday 24 November 2021.
    • Buses replace Frankston line trains between Flinders Street and Caulfield from 1am Saturday 27 November to last service 28 November.

    Frankston and Stony Point Lines

    • Buses replace trains between Mordialloc, Frankston and Stony Point until last service Sunday 21 November as part of Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach Level Crossing Removal Projects.
    • During this time, Edithvale, Chelsea and Bonbeach stations will be closed.
    • Buses will also be extended from Moorabbin to Frankston at select times until October.
    • Buses also extend to replace trains between Flinders Street and Frankston stations and between Frankston and Stony Point stations from 1am Saturday 20 November to last service Sunday 21 November.
    Lilydale Line
    • Buses replace trains between Ringwood and Lilydale stations from 8.30pm Friday 10 September to last service Thursday 18 November.
    Mernda Line
    • Buses replace trains between Epping and Mernda stations from 8.50pm to last train each night from Monday 15 November to Thursday 18 November, due to works.
    • Buses replace trains between Epping and Mernda stations from 8.50pm to last train each night from Monday 22 November to Thursday 25 November.

    Sunbury Line

    • Buses replace trains between Watergardens and Sunbury stations from 8.30pm Friday 19 November to last service Sunday 21 November 2021, due to works.

    Williamstown Line

    • North Williamstown Station is closed from 8.30pm Monday 2 August until last service Friday 10 December.
    • Buses replace trains between Newport and Williamstown stations from 8.30pm Friday 20 August until last service Friday 10 December.

    Yarra Trams

    Routes 3 and 3a

    • Route 3 and 3a trams will not service Stop 56 Caulfield Racecourse towards Melbourne University from Wednesday 1 September 2021 until Monday 31 January 2022.

    Routes 86

    • Buses replace Route 86 trams between Stop 25 – Clifton Hill Interchange and Stop 42 – Dundas Street from 1am Sunday 28 November to last tram Sunday 5 December.

    V/Line

    Interstate V/Line Services

    • Coach services will not operate across the border into South Australia until further notice. Scheduled coach services will operate to the normal timetable within Victoria but start or finish their journey at the last Victorian stop before the SA border.
