PTV Service Update

January 19, 2022

    Reduced services

Due to driver availability, there may be changes to some public transport services. With a large number of staff isolating, some services may need to be cancelled over the next few weeks as we work to balance timetable requirements with staff availability.

    Major works this summer

Works continue on some of the state’s biggest transport projects this summer. Critical maintenance works will also take place on our rail, tram and road networks to ensure services continue to run reliably.

There’ll be disruptions to the public transport and road networks while these works take place. Be sure to plan ahead and allow extra time or take an alternative route if possible.

    Australia Day public holiday

On the Australia Day public holiday on Wednesday 26 January, most public transport services will operate to a Saturday timetable, but some services may be altered or will not run. Night Network services will not run.
