Alamein, Belgrave and Lilydale lines

Buses replace trains between Parliament and Camberwell stations on the Alamein/Belgrave/Lilydale lines from 8.20pm Friday 6 March to last train Monday 9 March, while works take place.
Buses replace trains between Parliament and Camberwell stations on the Alamein/Belgrave/Lilydale lines from 8.30pm to last train each night on Tuesday 10 March and Wednesday 11 March, while works take place.

Belgrave Line

Buses replace evening and night trains between Ringwood and Belgrave from:
- 8.40pm Friday 13 March to 6am Saturday 14 March
- 8.50pm Saturday 14 March to 6.20am Sunday 15 March
- 8.50pm Sunday 15 March to last train Sunday 15 March

Cranbourne and Pakenham lines

Cranbourne and Pakenham line trains will not operate between Caulfield Station and the city from 10.08am to 7.20pm each day, Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March.

Glen Waverley Line

Buses replace trains between Richmond and Glen Waverley stations from 8.30pm on Friday 6 March to last train on Monday 9 March, due to maintenance works.
Buses replace trains between Richmond and Glen Waverley stations from 8.10pm to last train each night on Tuesday 10 March and Wednesday 11 March, due to maintenance works.
Buses replace trains between Burnley and Darling stations from:
- 11.15pm Saturday 14 March to 6am Sunday 15 March
- 11.15pm to last train each night, Sunday 15 March to Thursday 19 March

Hurstbridge Line

Buses replace trains between Greensborough and Hurstbridge stations from 6.20pm Saturday 14 March to 6.30am Sunday 15 March, due to project works.

Mernda Line

Buses replace trains between Epping and Mernda;
- 8.40pm to last train each night, Monday 2 March to Thursday 5 March
- 8.20pm to last train on Monday 9 March
- 8.50pm to last train each night, Tuesday 10 March to Thursday 12 March

Pakenham Line

Buses replace trains between Dandenong and Pakenham:
- 8.30pm to last train on Thursday 5 March
- 8.40pm to last train on Monday 9 March
- 8.30pm to last train each night, Tuesday 10 March to Thursday 12 March

Sunbury Line

Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunshine stations from 8.30pm Friday 6 March to 12.45am Sunday 8 March, due to project works. Buses then replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunbury stations from 12.45am to last train on Sunday 8 March.

Upfield Line

Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Upfield stations from 8.30pm on Friday 13 March to last train Sunday 15 March, due to project works. Coburg Station will be closed during this time.

Werribee Line

Werribee and Williamstown lines

Trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on on Saturday 7 March and Sunday 8 March, due to works.

Route 1, 3a, 5, 6, 16, 30, 35 (City Circle), 67, 72, 86, 96 and 109 trams:

Route 1, 3a, 5, 6, 16, 30, 35 (City Circle), 67, 72, 86, 96 and 109 trams are affected by stop closures and service changes from Saturday 14 March to Sunday 15 March, first tram to 8.30pm each day, due to the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park.

Ballarat Line

Road coaches replace selected evening trains on the Ballarat line from Saturday 7 March to Tuesday 10 March, due to Sunbury Line Upgrade and maintenance works.

Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines

Coaches replace select evening trains between Southern Cross and Bendigo/Eaglehawk/Epsom from Tuesday 3 March to Thursday 12 March 2020, due to Sunbury Line Upgrade and maintenance works.

Geelong Line

Road coaches replace selected evening trains on the Geelong line on Saturday 7 March, due to Sunbury Line Upgrade works.

Seymour, Shepparton and Albury lines

Coaches will replace trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines for the entire journey from Saturday 7 March to Friday 27 March, due to maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
