Metro Trains
Belgrave and Lilydale lines
- Buses replace trains between Camberwell and Ringwood Station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line from 8.10pm on Friday 10 January to last train Sunday 12 January, due to maintenance works.
Cranbourne, Frankston and Pakenham lines
- Buses replace trains between Parliament/Flinders Street and Caulfield from first train Monday 13 January and last train Thursday 30 January, while project works take place.
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
- Buses replace trains between Flinders Street and Westall stations from first train Saturday 4 January to last train Sunday 12 January.
Frankston and Stony Point lines
- Buses replace trains between Frankston and Stony Point from first train Thursday 2 January to last train Saturday 1 February.
- Buses replace trains between Flinders Street and Moorabbin from first train Monday 6 January to last train Sunday 12 January.
Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Mernda & Werribee lines
- Trains on the Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Mernda and Werribee lines will run to an altered timetable to and from Flinders Street Station from 9.30pm to 11.30pm on Friday 10 January.
Hurstbridge Line
- Buses replace trains between Heidelberg and Hurstbridge stations from 8.40pm to last train each night from Sunday 12 January to Wednesday 15 January, due to maintenance works.
Sandringham Line
- Trains on the Sandringham Line will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 11 January and Sunday 12 January, due to works.
- Trains on the Sandringham Line will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 18 January and Sunday 19 January 2020, due to works.
Werribee Line
- Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from 8.15pm to last train each night from Monday 6 January to Thursday 9 January.
- Trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 11 January and Sunday 12 January, due to works.
- Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from 8.15pm to last train each night from Saturday 11 January to Thursday 16 January.
- Trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 18 January and Sunday 19 January, due to works.
Yarra Trams
Route 82
- Route 82 trams will experience service changes from first to last tram on Sunday 12 January, due to road closures as part of the East Meets West Festival in Footscray.
Route 96
- Buses replace Route 96 trams from first tram Thursday 2 January to 2am Sunday 19 January 2020 along Nicholson Street between Rose and Blyth streets.
Route 12 and 109
- Route 12 and 109 trams will experience service changes from 3am to last tram on Sunday 19 January 2020, due to road closures associated with the Lunar Festival in Richmond.
V/Line
Albury Line
- Coaches replace all Albury trains for the entire journey on Sunday 19 January, due to track works.
Ballarat Line
- Road coaches replace selected evening trains on the Ballarat Line from Sunday 12 January to Tuesday 14 January 2020, due to works.
Gippsland Line
- Road coaches replace trains on the Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines for the full journey from Thursday 2 January to Thursday 30 January.
Metropolitan buses
Lonsdale Street Buses
- Due to Citipower power upgrade works, Bus Routes 200, 207, 250, 251, 302, 303, 304, 305, 309, 318, 350, 905, 906, 907 and 908 will not operate down Lonsdale Street in the CBD from first service Monday 13 January to last service Sunday 16 February.
