Major Sunday Bus Diversions: Leeds 10K Run
The event will cause widespread rolling road closures in and around Leeds City Centre on Sunday, June 14, from approximately 04:00 to 15:00. More than 30 local routes will be forced to divert, skip major city hubs, or operate under shortened schedules.
π«Β Major City Centre Stops Missed
During the event, standard boarding platforms at The Headrow, Civic Hall, and Merrion Centre will be completely bypassed by most services. Once roads are cleared in the afternoon, buses will gradually return to their normal stops.
π Key Route Impacts:

Services 19 & 19A: Bypassing Civic Hall entirely between 04:00 and 15:00. Use City Square B, Corn Exchange H, or Cultural A to board.
Service 24: * 04:00 β 12:00: Diversion via Kirkstall Road. Bypassing all stops between City Square E and Weetwood Police Station.
12:00 β 15:00: Routes will return closer to the center but will divert via Vicar Lane and Duncan Street. Catch it from Trinity O or Station E.
Service 91 (Partial Suspension): From 08:00 to 11:15, this service is completely suspended between Headingley and Halton Moor. It will only operate on the segment from Queenswood Drive to Pudsey.
Service 163: Bypassing Headrow A and City Square H. It will terminate and restart from Cultural A & D via a Vicar Lane detour.
Other Affected Routes: 14, 15, 23, 27, 28, 33, 34, 38, 39, 42, 49, 50, 50A, 56, 60, 72, 74, 75, 508, 874, X6, and X84.
