Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- From 1 November, COVID Safe capacity on public transport will increase to around 75 percent. More green dots will allow you to sit next to each other. Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
Metro
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 and Sunday 14 November
- Nightly from 9pm until 1am, buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood.
T1 North Shore Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 November
- Nightly from 9.45pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
T1 Western Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 November
- Nightly from 9.30pm until 3.45am, buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Penrith.
Saturday 13 November
- From 1.30pm until 1.30am, Richmond trains run between Richmond and Leppington via the T5 Cumberland Line.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 November
- Nightly from 9.45pm until 1.30am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Strathfield and Central.
Saturday 13 November
- From 1.30pm until 1.30am, trains from Leppington to the City run via Regents Park. Change at Cabramatta for T5 Cumberland Line trains to Canley Vale, Fairfield, Yennora, Guildford and Merrylands.
Sunday 14 November
- From 5.30am until 11.30am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November
- Buses replace trains between Cronulla, Waterfall and Central. Some buses start and end at Redfern.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Bondi Junction and Central.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 November
- Nightly from 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only.
Sunday 14 November
- From 5.30am until 11.30am, buses replace trains between Cabramatta and Granville
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November
- Trackwork on the T4 Illawarra and South Coast lines may affect how you travel.
T9 Northern Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 November
- Nightly from 9.45pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
Blue Mountains Line
Monday 8 to Thursday 11 November
- Nightly from 10pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Springwood and Penrith.
- Tuesday to Friday, the 03:42 Lithgow to Bathurst service will run up to 13 minutes later.
Saturday 13 November
- From 1.30pm until 1.30am, trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Wednesday 10 November
- Buses replace the 02:16 Gosford to Wyong service.
Hunter Line
Saturday 13 November
- From 9pm until 3am, buses replace trains between Telarah and Newcastle Interchange.
South Coast Line
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November
- Buses replace trains between Dapto and Central, and between Port Kembla and Wollongong.
