Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- Consider other travel options including travelling off peak, walking,cycling and driving where possible as there will be limited space on replacement buses.
- Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
Metro
Monday 20 to Thursday 23 June
- Nightly from 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace metro between Tallawong and Chatswood.
- Buses also replace T1 North Shore Line trains. If you are travelling to the City change at Epping, not Chatswood, for a direct train to Central via the T9 Northern Line.
Saturday 25 June
- Trackwork on the T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel.
Sunday 26 June
- Buses replace metro between Tallawong and Chatswood.
T1 North Shore Line
Monday 20 to Thursday 23 June
- Nightly from 9.10pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains from Hornsby to Central.
- Nightly from 9.35pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains from Central to Hornsby.
Friday 24 June
- From 11pm until 2am, buses replace trains between North Sydney and Wynyard.
- Trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and North Sydney, some to a changed timetable.
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June
- Buses replace trains between North Sydney and Wynyard.
- Trains run between Hornsby and North Sydney, some to a changed timetable.
T1 Western Line
Monday 20 to Thursday 23 June
- Nightly from 9.30am until 1.30am, trains run between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-12, some to a changed timetable.
Friday 24 to Sunday 26 June
- From 11pm Friday, trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-12, making extra stops at Homebush and Burwood. Saturday and Sunday trains also stop at Flemington.
- Richmond trains run between Richmond and Leppington only. Change at Parramatta for trains to the City.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Friday 24 June
- From 11pm until 2am, buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Ashfield and Central.
- Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Leppington and Ashfield.
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June
- Buses replace the all-stations Homebush trains between Strathfield and Central.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville, every 30 minutes.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 June
- Nightly from 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only. Some trains start and end at Olympic Park or Homebush.
- Change trains at Granville to continue your journey.
Sunday 26 June
- From 5.50am until 8.45am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Blacktown.
- From 8.45am until 11am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Schofields.
T7 Olympic Park Line
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June
- Extra trains run between Olympic Park and Leppington.
- Saturday from 11.50pm until 2am, trains also run between Olympic Park and Penrith. Buses replace trains between Olympic Park and Strathfield.
T9 Northern Line
Monday 20 to Thursday 23 June
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 1.30am, trains run between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12, some to a changed timetable.
Friday 24 June
- From 11pm until 2am, trains run between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12 only, some to a changed timetable.
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June
- Trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12 only, some to a changed timetable.
Blue Mountains Line
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June
- Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Lidcombe and Central.
- Saturday night and Sunday morning, buses replace the following trains between Blacktown and Central:
- 22:19 Lithgow to Central service ends at Blacktown at 00:51
- 00:24 Central to Lithgow service starts from Blacktown at 01:30, running up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Saturday 25 to Monday 27 June
- Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
