Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- Consider other travel options including travelling off peak, walking,cycling and driving where possible as there will be limited space on replacement buses.
- Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
Metro
Monday 23 to Thursday 26 May
- Nightly from 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace metro between Tallawong and Chatswood.
T1 North Shore Line
Sunday 29 May
- From 1am until 5.50am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only. City Circle trains run between Wynyard and Central.
- Buses replace trains between Central and Strathfield.
T1 Western Line
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May
- Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond, Blacktown and the City.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Sunday 29 May
- From 1am until 6am, buses replace trains between Strathfield or Ashfield and Central.
- Leppington trains run between Leppington and Olympic Park only.
T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line
Monday 23 to Thursday 26 May
- Nightly from 9.40pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction.
- Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla or Waterfall and the City Circle.
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May
- Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern.
- Some trains start or end at Hurstville or Sutherland. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
- On Sunday from 1pm until 4pm, trains will not stop at Wolli Creek, but make an extra stop at Arncliffe.
T5 Cumberland Line
Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 May
- Nightly from 11.50pm until 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Granville, and between Granville and Leppington only. Some trains start and end at Olympic Park or Homebush.
T8 Airport & South Line
Saturday 28 May
- From 8.40am until 3pm, buses replace the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby.
- Express trains continue to run but will not stop at stations between Padstow and Turrella.
Sunday 29 May
- From 9am until 3pm, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Revesby and Turrella.
T9 Northern Line
Sunday 29 May
- From 1am until 5.50am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
- Trains run between Hornsby and Strathfield, some to a changed timetable.
Blue Mountains Line
Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May
- Nightly from 11pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Katoomba.
- Trains run between Katoomba and Central, some to a changed timetable.
Friday 27 May
- From 11pm until 2am, trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and North Sydney or the City Circle, some to a changed timetable.
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May
- Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Blacktown. Bathurst trains are replaced by buses between Bathurst and Central.
- T1 Western Line trains run between Blacktown and the City. These trains do not run to the Blue Mountains Line train timetable.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Friday 27 May
- From 11pm until 2am, trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and North Sydney or the City Circle, some to a changed timetable.
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May
- Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only, some to a changed timetable.
- On Sunday from 1am until 5.50am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
Hunter Line
Tuesday 24 May
- From 3am, buses replace all trains between Scone, Dungog and Newcastle Interchange.
Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 May
- From 2am Wednesday until 10.10pm Thursday, buses replace trains between Scone and Maitland. Buses also replace some trains between Telarah and Maitland.
- Wednesday from 6.30pm until 4.30am, buses replace trains between Scone, Dungog and Newcastle Interchange.
South Coast Line
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May
- Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, some trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops between Sutherland and Hurstville.
- On Sunday from 1pm until 4pm, trains will not stop at Wolli Creek, but make extra stops at Arncliffe and Sydenham.
- Buses run between Wolli Creek and Sydenham, and between Wolli Creek and Arncliffe.
