Here’s the update on scheduled trackwork affecting services. Plan your trip and work out any extra travel time you need.
- From Monday 28 February, Sydney Trains will return to a full weekday timetable and there will be an overall increase in NSW TrainLink Intercity services.
- Currently COVID Safe capacity on public transport is around 75 percent. Green dots will help you to choose the best places to sit or stand.
- Face masks are mandatory on public transport, including taxis, ride share and hire cars across NSW.
T1 Western Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
- Penrith trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at Burwood and Ashfield.
- On Sunday from 6.30am until 10.30am trains run between Richmond and Leppington.
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
- Homebush trains will not run.
T3 Bankstown Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
- Trains from the City may run to a changed timetable.
Blue Mountains Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
- Most trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Strathfield only.
Central Coast & Newcastle Line
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
- Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only.
South Coast Line
Saturday 5 March
- From 8am until 4pm, at Helensburgh trains towards Central leave from platform 2, not platform 1.
Sunday 6 March
- From 8am until 4pm, at Otford and Helensburgh, trains towards Central leave from platform 2, not platform 1.
