🚇Metro Trains


Belgrave, Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Lilydale, Mernda and Sandringham lines

  • Belgrave, Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Lilydale, Mernda and Sandringham lines will run to an altered timetable to and from Flinders Street Station from 9.30pm on Saturday 25 January to 2am Sunday 26 January 2020.

 

Craigieburn Line

  • Buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Craigieburn stations from 8.40pm Friday 24 January to last train Monday 27 January 2020, due to maintenance works.
  • Buses will replace trains between North Melbourne and Craigieburn stations from 8.10pm to last train each night, on Tuesday 28 January and Wednesday 29 January 2020, due to maintenance works.

 

Cranbourne, Frankston and Pakenham lines

  • Buses replace trains between Parliament/Flinders Street and Caulfield from first train Monday 13 January to last train Thursday 30 January, while project works take place.
  • Frankston Line and Stony Point lines
  • Buses replace trains between Moorabbin and Frankston/Stony Point stations from 1am Sunday 2 February to last train Sunday 16 February 2020, due to project works.

 

Sandringham Line

  • Buses replace trains between Parliament and Elsternwick stations from 8.30pm to last train each night, Monday 20 January to Thursday 23 January, due to maintenance works.
  • Trains on the Sandringham Line will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 25 January and Sunday 26 January, due to works.
  • Buses replace trains between Parliament and Elsternwick stations from 8.30pm to last train each night from Monday 27 January to Thursday 30 January 2020, due to maintenance works.

 

Werribee Line

  • Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee stations from 8.15pm to last train each night from Monday 20 January to Thursday 23 January 2020.
  • Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee stations from 8.15pm Friday 24 January to 6.30am Saturday 25 Janaury 2020.

 

Werribee and Williamstown lines

  • Trains on the Werribee and Williamstown lines will run direct to and from Flinders Street Station, not via the City Loop on Saturday 25 January and Sunday 26 January, due to works.

 

Yarra Trams


CBD trams

  • Route 1, 3a, 5, 6, 11, 12, 16, 30, 35 (City Circle), 48, 64, 67, 70, 72, 75, 86, 96 and 109 trams will be affected by service alterations during selected times on Sunday 26 January 2020, due to the Australia Day Parade and Fireworks.

 

Industrial action affecting metropolitan trams

  • Due to protected industrial action, no metropolitan trams will run between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday 28 January and Thursday 30 January 2020. Services are expected to be significantly disrupted from 10am until approximately 3.30pm as the normal timetable is restored.

 

Route 3a, 16 and 96

  • Route 3a, 16 and 96 trams are affected by temporary service alterations from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Sunday 2 February 2020, due to the Midsumma Pride March. There will be no trams running along Fitzroy Street, The Esplanade and Carlisle Street (west of St Kilda Road) during the event.
  • Route 3a, 5, 12, 16, 67 and 96 trams
  • Route 3a, 5, 12, 16, 67 and 96 trams are affected by temporary service alterations from 4.30am to last tram on Sunday 9 February 2020, due to the St Kilda Festival.

 

V/Line


Bendigo Line

  • Coaches replace select evening trains between Southern Cross and Bendigo from Tuesday 21 January to Thursday 30 January, while track works take place.

 

Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines

  • A temporary timetable change will be introduced on the Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines from Wednesday 22 January to Tuesday 4 February, while track works take place.

 

Geelong and Warrnambool lines

  • Road coaches replace selected evening trains on the Geelong line from Monday 27 January to Wednesday 29 January 2020, due to track works.
  • Road coaches replace selected Geelong and Warrnambool trains for part of the journey on Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February due to the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

 

Gippsland Line

  • Road coaches replace trains on the Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines for the full journey from Thursday 2 January to Thursday 30 January.

 

Seymour and Shepparton lines

  • Coaches will replace trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines for the entire journey on the evenings of Friday 24 January, Tuesday 28 January and Wednesday 29 January, and all day from Saturday 25 January to Monday 27 January, due to works

 

Metropolitan buses


Lonsdale Street Buses

  • Due to Citipower power upgrade works, Bus Routes 200, 207, 250, 251, 302, 303, 304, 305, 309, 318, 350, 905, 906, 907 and 908 will not operate down Lonsdale Street in the CBD from first service Monday 13 January to last service Sunday 16 February.
